Wood Wave LED 120 is a very special linear solid wood luminaire with direct and indirect illumination. The direct light is emitted through high precision lenses and milled light chambers which create a rectangular light footprint on the illumination surface for highest light uniformity. The advantage of this unique optical solution is the night effect of the illuminated wood texture. The same result is achieved on the wave shape due to the reflected light from the ceiling which is highlighting the wood texture on the luminaire top. Due to the wave shape this illuminated wood texture is visible from the side view as well. This effect is very unique and a new concept in our designs to convert the luminaire to a design element during times when daylight is not present anymore.
